Our Story
Jason Goodrow founded J&L with a mission to raise the standard of local contracting work. Born in Massena, New York, Jason moved to Portland in 1995, where he developed hands-on experience as a carpenter and contractor. In 2003, he and his family relocated to Longview, Washington, and brought his expertise to the Northwest community.
What started as a small operation has grown into a trusted, multi-service contracting company focused on results, respect, and doing the job right — the first time.
